Did 1 period of mass PE and 6 periods of relief for PE as well.
total time on pe activities. 4 hours++.
during that time i did all these with them :
200 pushups,
200 Jumping Jacks,
200 Squats,
100 burpees.
Ran 3.2km.
All in the lovely sun. and constantly projecting and giving instructions.

No wonder i felt like puking while i was in the gym after school.
good lord. i didn’t have the strength to do chinups or dips, even my bench was weaker. OMG.
ended up doing the following in the gym:
5 sets of chinups to failure.
Bench X 4 sets
Shoulder press X 4 sets
Planks LRC X 2 sets
Shrugs X 1 set
seated row X 3 sets

really felt light headed and nauseous. Note to self. eat before hitting the gym.
but on reflection. I LOVE 1A4. such a lovely class. So positive, so cooperative,and really a class that i think will win over ALOT of staff. Please stay lovable. please please please.

headed to Ghim moh for some italian before heading home. shiok man. hard earned meal. heh.

Today was another of those days. i feel… urgh. i like being busy, i want to be busy. damn it. argh.
spent a period with 2t1, one with 3t3, and another 2 relieving the sec 3NA malay students. Then it was 2 periods of lifeskills with my 1t2.

After a tea / honey water break with the new staff, i hit the gym, and did some conditioning.

Dips
lats pull down
seated row
lunges
resistance tubing

aching but its a good ache. its been a while since i had such a workout. just need to do more cardio conditioning.

Had dinner and watching Romeo and juliet right now. hahahah. the old old one from the early 90s. updated with guns and cars and other modern day facilities.

Its been 2 hectic days in school.
i miss having PE lessons, and find the purely academic relief lessons is kinda meh.
i miss my PE classes. my angels in 2a1 and 2a2. sigh. and of course my devils in 2t1 and 2t2.
but still, i miss them all. argh.

i’ve had to relief mother tongue lessons today. Like erm woah. mother tongue ???? anyway just talked to them about life in general, and then let them enjoy some video clips.

would rather relief stuff like maths and science, at least i won’t feel so… dare i say it …. useless ? dang. or to put it better, at least i feel like i’m being fully utilized, rather than being used as a babysitter.

After school meetings are ok too, i guess, just not looking forward to contact time anytime soon. cuz i think there are a lot of issues to be ironed out and discussed, and i believe that it will be a loooooong one to come.

been knocking out once i get back home the past 2 days. just feel so exhausted from having to project my voice all day long, and to attempt to readjust my body clock.

So i woke up at a luxuriously late 8 am, checked out some shows, and watched the latest installment of bleach. i really do not like this filler arc, and hope it ends soon. seriously. but i do like the new arc in the manga. its filling in a lot of gaps.

After that headed to school, and cleared up some admin, prepared the stuff which i was gonna hand over to the teachers taking over my classes, esp the PE one, sorted out by class, filed up everything including MCs submitted to me since the start of the year.

Also have to prepare some lessons, but then again i do not have a time table, so i’m wondering what to prepare….. its kinda messed up. Maybe more 3NT english materials…

So this is the last weekend of training for the teams before the big race next weekend. i’m still not sure if they’re gonna be ready for the race. but no choice. sigh. they are just not committed enough to go the distance.

Was in NIE for briefings, and it was interesting, some of the lecturers are my kinda people, the kind i like to work with / for, so i think i’ll be having fun while i’m there.

I saw NJP as well, he was posted to WWSC for his Contract, and will be doing EL in NIE as well. Fantastic.

met up with Eric, he finally got into the system, which is good for him, after 15 years in the engineering profession, he needed a change of environment. He was offered Phys Ed, but he was worried about his longevity (at the age of almost 40), it is a valid concern i guess, though he is the fittest looking guy his age that i know of. So he chose to take D&T and Maths instead, but knowing him, he will still stay active in sports. which is good.

Dinner at JE was good. the Duck rice and the dumpling soup was excellent. the meat was not the kind that gets flattened by the guy at the chopping board, so it was thick and yummy! the sauce rocks too.

spent the day in school doing up slides for a sharing session.
had pizza, did the slides.
blah blah blah.
went back home, knocked out, and woke up abt 8 plus.
spent a couple of hours fiddling with the Wii. there were some technical problems due to a firmware upgrade from OKAMI. so it messed things up. real bad.
but its more or less ok at this point in time, just that certain games are not working.

I noticed the difference between the DVD+R and DVD-R discs. the Wii definitely had difficulty reading the dvd+r discs, as it makes a hell of a lot of clicking noises. dammit. should have burnt them all on the -Rs. unfortunately, i deleted most of the ISOs after burning them back then, due to space constraints.

by the time i settled everything it was 5 am, and i knocked out yet again after 5.30 (i know this cuz my HP’s alarm went off while i was trying to sleep. bah.) and slept a total of 4 hours. woke at 9 plus, and had a throbbing headache.

ah well. maybe i’ll just sleep it off in a bit.

the BB.com package has arrived. now its just the batteries.

Generally, a lot of thought was put into the planning of the staff retreat.

I had fun in some areas, totally bored in some, extremely irritated at some points.

We had plenty of fun though, lots of laughs, lots of smiles, and some craziness. but just wasn’t in the mood to totally let loose. i am so bloody tired nowadays. 

Hmm. 

I also had a near death experience. the feeling was so surreal, and for that moment. time froze, but no, my life didn’t flash before my eyes. only a tinge of regret for so many things that i had yet to accomplish.

So much to do, and yet. so little time. a common statement, a common way of thinking. but when we really wanna do something, we will find the time to do it. true ? i think so.

I’m gonna go sign up for courses to learn things that i wanna learn. gonna start reading the stuff i wanted to read. and do certain things that i feel i need to do.

Hiding one’s feelings from others for too long. its a pain. but i dun wanna break my golden rule yet again, considering what happened the last time round. god. what a mess. but i might just ‘fess up one day. we’ll see.

On a different note, Itunes visualisations are mad. fantastic and extremely trippy. i can stare at it for hours on end.

fantastic. its now 45 minutes away from monday. sigh.
